Quail fuses a ferocious blend of hard-hitting Techno into every DJ set and having focussed more on production in the last few years, is steadily building his sound that encompasses various disciplines. Most recently Quail has teamed up with fellow Animal Farm resident AISHA, forming a production duo that will soon see their 3rd release on the mighty Soma Records with already more in the pipeline. Hosting some of the biggest names in Techno to the best up and comers and always supporting local talent, Animal Farm has strived to push the boundaries of dance floor based, electronic music. Operating out of the famous basement of the Sub Club, Animal Farm has been at the forefront of the techno scene for 16 years. Glasgow born and bred, Quail has been the driving force behind one of Scotland’s most well known and revered underground Techno events and labels, Animal Farm. Quail are small, quiet birds that can be raised in the city or the country. It is our pleasure to welcome label boss and A&R Quail to the Global Vibe Radio family, for what is now the 252nd edition of our weekly mix series. Domestic quail behave very similarly to wild quail, although they seem to have lost some, or all, of their migratory instincts. There are around 20 different types of wild quail found around the world and around 70 domestic breeds. Enjoy this Mix? Click the ? button so more people can hear it!
